Hi everyone, my name is Victoria and I am the GBV Programme Support Officer with IOM's global GBV team at HQ in Geneva. I am also a part of the GBV Guidelines Implementation Support Team organizing this stocktaking workshop.

My role includes providing technical support to IOM's offices worldwide on how to address GBV in crisis settings and participating in inter-agency GBV mechanisms. Hearing about and learning from your experiences in the field is therefore extremely valuable for me and our collective efforts to ensure we respond to the realities on the ground. I look forward to connecting with you all here in this forum and in the live events starting tomorrow!

Bonjour à tous ! Je m’appelle Victoria et je suis la ‘GBV Programme Support Officer’ de l’OIM à Genève depuis 2,5 ans. Mon rôle consiste en soutenir les pays en situation de crise partout dans le monde à intégrer des interventions ciblant à lutter contre la violence basée sur le genre à travers tous les secteurs humanitaires dont OIM fait partie. Je suis aussi un membre de l’équipe d'appui à la mise en œuvre des lignes directrices inter-institutions sur la VBG, et j’ai donc soutenu l’organisation de cet atelier.

Je me réjouis de vous rencontrer ici et dans moins d’une heure pour notre première réunion de zoom pour apprendre de toutes vos expériences sur le terrain à atténuer des risques de VBG. A toute ! Victoria
